Constantine (Dean) Saites, MD
Dr. Saites is a founding member of Cascade Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. Dr. Saites is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. With a Bachelor’s of Science from St. Norbert College, Dr. Saites went on to complete a Masters in Physiology at Georgetown University. In 2008, Dr. Saites graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and the recipient of the Lillienfeld Award in Physiology. Dr. Saites was a categorical General Surgery resident at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and completed his Surgical Critical Care fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in 2012. He completed his residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan from 2015 to 2017. His interests include robotic general and acute care surgery, fixation of traumatic rib and sternal fractures, surgical physiology, and teaching. Dr. Saites is published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Saites enjoys spending time with his family who reside in Seattle. Dr. Saites is a member of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Tacoma. In his spare time, Dr. Saites enjoys playing hockey, cheering on the Seattle Kraken, skiing, leathercrafting, and sailing.
