Director of Surgical Critical Care 

Dr. Mahadev is a founding member of Cascade Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.  He was born and raised in Southern California. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then went on to obtain his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his surgical internship/residency at the University of Washington and his fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Harborview Medical Center. His specific clinical interests include chest wall reconstruction, the use of robotics in emergency general surgery, and optimizing the multidisciplinary evidence-based approach to caring for the critically ill. He values getting to know patients and their families to provide medical care that is tailored to their individual set of standards and ethics.  Outside of work he enjoys snowsports, diving, cooking and spending time with his young family.
